Pheasants Ph-orever!

My dear husband left me for a week to go hunting...in Kansas! Now I know you probably think, "who the heck drives 14 hours to go hunting?!" Trust me...I've heard it haha but his friend is from there and his friends' parents have a bunch of land, so it was a good opportunity. :) Anyway, he's had fun and he sent me a few pics (most of them were of the animals that he shot) so, to save anyone with a queezy stomach, I'll just post this one:

Isn't he so cute?! and the hunter isn't too bad either hee hee. Brad's in the club Pheasants Forever, but I think it should be spelled Phorever...

I'm glad he's having a good time! I just wish the week was over because that will mean he is home!

Well....we tried....

We tried, we really did...but apparently I'm not a good costume "designer" haha. For Halloween I thought it would be cute for Brad to be Megamind and I would be Roxanne Ritchi...first off, it's hard to find the right blue that is Megamind AND to make Brad's head grow 10 times the size...we tried everything from deflating a volleyball, to stuffing a bald cap with paper towels...but to no avail. So we just stuck with the bald cap and went to town with the facepaint...and here is the final product:

HAHAHAHAHA! It makes me laugh so hard. I'm pretty sure Brad looks more like a person from Blue Man Group or that creepy dude on one of the X-Men movies...

But, it was really fun to dress up and laugh about how ridiculous we looked :)

Update

Ok, so instead of posting all separate posts for each thing, I'll just combine them. So these past couple weeks have been fun! We went fishing (I caught my first fish!...unfortunately we didn't get the hook out in time and he became bird food... :( so sad.) One of our friends was in a demolition derby, so we went to that...OH and so funny, okay, so on our honeymoon we became obsessed with the tv show, Chopped (seriously, we watched it until like 3 in the morning every night haha). Brad surprised me (again) with going to Buca de Beppos and there is a table in the kitchen so we sat there. It was totally like Chopped! haha it was fabulous :)

UP House!

So a couple weeks ago Brad surprised me by taking me to the Up house that they built in Herriman. It was soooo cute! It's a model home and they copied everything from the house in the movie Up! That movie is kind of "our movie" because we watched it when we hung out for the first time (and snuggled...shhh, don't tell :)). So it's been a special thing (we made a piggy bank and decorated it with the house and balloons on it...) My husband is so cute. Unfortunately it was locked when we got there, but the outside was cool.

Hello hello!

Well, since I get so much joy from looking at my family and friends' blogs, I figured I'd start one to document Brad and my life together. :) Plus, it'll help me keep a good journal. I guess it'll be good to start at the beginning...
